DAY 1. We pick you up from the airport of Ninoy Aquino in Manila (or previous travel module). We go to the never sleeping City of Manila. Nobody really knows how many people live here. The estimated population is between 15 to 22 million people. You find many attractions in this city. We make by Calesa (horse-drawn carriage) a city tour and see the Manila Cathedral and buildings out of the Spanish and American colonial period. We visit the central located at Rizal Park with its botanical gardens and the one that is impressive is the Old Spanish fort rich Intramuros, the prison and the wall where the national hero Dr. Rizal who was executed by the Spanish colonial occupiers in 1897. We visit the National Museum and see a part of the history of the Philippines. Also, visit to Manila Bay and hopefully we can watch a spectacular sunset. We experience the nightlife of this never sleeping city with its various restaurants, theatres, discos and bars. Manila has an exciting nightlife. |

DAY 2. We drive through the coconut and banana plantations of the beautiful area of Laguna Lake of the south. After that we go to the city of Atimonan. There we enjoy the coastal road and the view of Lamon Bay. Then we arrive in Gumaga where we take our dinner and stay for an overnight. |

DAY 3 and 4. After breakfast we leave Gumaga and our journey brings as further to the south. We enjoy the magnificent landscape, with mountains and volcanoes. We pass by to the city Legaspi with its view on the majestic pyramid formed active volcano which is Mount Mayon. We drive to the province of Sorsogon. A beautiful road brings us to the dreamy little coastal town of Donsol. Our hotel is directly located on the beach. Many times they have here breathtaking sunset. We enjoy our local dinner with a view over the so-called "Whale Watching Bay". |

DAY 5. We drive through the beautiful landscape of Bulusan. We visit the old historical church of Barcelona. The area has fantastic scenery of the mountains lakes and volcanoes and the beautiful side of the Pacific Ocean. This area is also know as “Little Switzerland of Asia”. |

DAY 6. In the afternoon, we visit the volcanoes curable hot water spring. We enjoy and relax the warm water with curable and healthy influences on the body. We stay for an overnight in Bulusan or Sorsagon. |

DAY 7. We drive to Legaspi the city with the active and majestic pyramid formed which is Mayon Volcano. We visit the Cagsawa Ruins in Daraga, Albay. In 1814, this city disappeared under a stream of lava coming from Mount Mayon. We can just see the top of the bell tower built in the year 1773 Franciscan church, above the ground. After lunch we leave then go to Lake Buhi. This is a famous lake because of the smallest commercial fish in the world that lives here. We stay overnight in Legaspi in the Villa Angelina. |

DAY 8. We leave Luzon and take a 2-hour ferry trip from Matnog to Samar. We drive along to one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world to Calbayog. We pass many villages and enjoy the majestic mountain landscape. In Calbayog we visit the “Samar Archeological Museum” which features the historical findings of the island. We stay overnight in Calbayog. |

DAY 9. We drive south to the island of Leyte. We leave the island of Samar and travel more than 2-kilometer long of San Juanico Bridge, the longest bridge in Asia. In the afternoon, we visit the colonial style ‘‘St Nino Shrine’’ and ‘’The Heritage Museum". The wife of the late president Marcos, Emelda built this house in the city of her birth. By visiting this house you get an impression of the enormous wealth of the Marcos' family. The colonial house holds art treasures from all over the world which were given to the Marcos' family. You can take a look at the bedrooms of Emelda Marcos, her husband and her children. We also enjoy a visit to a hill west of the city with a very big Christ figure. You will have a beautiful view over the city. We stay in Tacloban. |

DAY 10. In the morning we leave for Palo. Here during World War II the American General Douglas MacArthur fulfilled his promise of "I SHALL RETURN". On this coast was a heavy sea battle with the Japanese fleet. Under heavy resistance the American and Filipino troops landed here on the beach. Because of the many casualties and wounded and the blood that was spilt here, the beach was called "Red Beach'' More than 30,000 americans and 60,.000 japanese soldiers lost their lives here. In memory of the landing of the troops many heads of states have placed items of remembrance to commemorate the ultimate sacrifice of so many. We also have a visit to Hill 522, a 159 meter high hill. There was a heavy battle to capture this hill. We follow the way and visit the cathedral of Palo which served as a hospital during the war. |

After we drive to the harbor town of Ormoc where we take a city tour. We visit the cozy harbor and the market. Ormoc is one of the beautiful cities in the Philippines. We stay for an overnight in Ormoc. |

DAY 11. We travel 2 hour on the fast "Supercat" to Cebu. Cebu City is the capital of the Visayas Region and have a population over 700.000 people. From the hillside by night, the city gives a colorful sight because of its many lights. Cebu is bursting with culture and history. Also Cebu has many restaurants with an exquisite cuisine. Here is a place where you can enjoy yourself. |

DAY 12. After breakfast we make a city tour. Cebu City is an older city than Manila and has the harbor with the most activities in the country. The story goes that once the beaches were so bright and long that the visitors by boat had to wade through the water to come on land. This gave its original name Sugbo which means "walking over water". The Chinese, Cambodians and Arabs visited the place in the fifteenth century. The Spanish conqueror Ferdinand Magellan arrived here in the year 1521. In that year he planted a big wooden cross at the place where the first filipino's were baptized as Christians. Now this place become a big tourist attraction. On our city tour we visit this cross and also the old Santa Niño Church. We also visit the colorful Carbon Market and follow our way to the old Spanish Fort San Pedro. In Casa Gorordo we can see old pieces of art. Then we go to the idyllic Beverly Hills and its Chinese Taoist Temple. From the Tops Garden we enjoy a magnificent view over the city of Cebu. |

DAY 13. We travel on the fast "Supercat" to Bohol, the island with the mysterious Chocolate Hills. Geologist, are still not clear on how these nearly identical hills started to exist. From March until May these hills have a chocolate brown color. |

DAY 14. We visit the Corella and Tarsier Visitors Center. Here we can see the Tarsier, the with extinction threatened smallest primate (kind of little monkey). They started a breeding program here, to try to save this animal from extinction. We visit the waterfalls and caves and visit the San Pedro Church from the 16th century. We make a mini cruise on the Loboc river. We take our lunch in the restaurant on the boat. |

DAY 15. We take the Super Ferry that bring us to Manila from Tagbilaran via Cebu, a cruise of around 28 hours. It depends upon of which class you are to choose when you travel, there are standard cabin, captains cabin or owners cabin. |

DAY 16. We pass many beautiful small islands. Our economy and first class travelers, have meals provided in the restaurant In the evening we arriving Manila and we stay for an overnight there in the Garden Plaza Hotel. |

DAY 17. We visit one of the colorful markets and you will be surprised by the cheap prices of different articles and we visit one of the luxury air-conditioned shopping malls. After that we bring you to the airport and we hope that you enjoy this tour. |
